Estimate how many units you sell while an order is in transit, then add a safety buffer for busy days and late deliveries. A product that sells 5 units a day with a 7-day lead time needs about 35 units to survive the lead time, plus a safety margin.

Keep the tracker current with every sale and delivery if you can, and do a physical count regularly - weekly for fast-moving or expensive items, monthly for everything else. The tracker is only as good as the quantities you enter.

The item is flagged as low stock so it is visible at a glance. From there, place the order early enough for it to arrive before you run out, and adjust the reorder level if you keep running out before deliveries land.

Enter the product name, an optional SKU, the current quantity, and the quantity at which you want to reorder, then press Add product. Each item appears in the list with its stock level beside it, and the form resets so you can quickly enter the next product.

The tracker compares each product's current quantity with its reorder level and flags any item at or below it. The summary panel counts your low-stock items and lists their names, so a single glance tells you exactly which products need an order placed.

An SKU is an optional code you assign to a product, such as a short name or number that helps you identify it in your records. It is useful when you stock similar items that are easy to confuse. Leave it blank if you do not use codes - the product name alone is enough.

Yes. Every item in the list has a remove button that deletes the product from the tracker immediately, and the low-stock count updates at once. Use it for discontinued lines so the tracker shows only what you actually stock, keeping the list short and the warnings accurate.

Everything is saved in your browser's local storage, so clearing your browser data for this site removes the list permanently and it cannot be recovered. Note down your quantities before clearing, or move your stock onto a full inventory system if you need a permanent record.
